Oakwood's Bentley Barwise Shines on National Stage

A massive shout-out and huge congratulations go out to Oakwood's very own Bentley Barwise, an incredible 8th-grade student athlete who recently represented our school with distinction!

Bentley achieved something truly remarkable, being selected as 1 of only 40 athletes from thousands of hopefuls across the nation. This elite group earned the incredible opportunity to travel to Los Angeles from June 19-21 with two days of training and two days of games. All 40 athletes will be notified in December to see if they earned one of just 10 coveted spots on the 14U USA Flag Football team!

During the intense competition, Bentley showcased his skills and dedication, even managing to score a touchdown for his 14U Red team. What an amazing moment!

We are incredibly proud of Bentley's hard work, commitment, and the outstanding way he represented Oakwood Middle School. His dedication to his sport is truly inspiring.
