It is a packed week for our Oakwood student-athletes! From big basketball matchups to major wrestling tournaments, there are plenty of opportunities to come out and show your school spirit.

Here is everything happening in Oakwood Athletics this week:

Basketball

Our basketball teams are hitting the court hard this week with several away games and two big home matchups at the Oakwood Gymnasium.

Monday, Jan 12: Oakwood Gold Basketball travels to Jackson Memorial MS to take on Jackson Purple. Tip-off at 5:00 PM.
Tuesday, Jan 13: Oakwood Green is away at Jackson Memorial MS vs. Jackson Gold, while our Girls Basketball team heads to North Canton MS to face Hoover. Both games start at 5:00 PM.
Wednesday, Jan 14: HOME GAME! Oakwood Gold hosts Hoover Orange at Oakwood. Come out to support our Boys Gold team - 7th Grade begins at 5:00 PM.
Thursday, Jan 15: A double-header evening! Girls Basketball hosts Jackson at home, while Oakwood Green travels to North Canton MS to play Hoover Black. Both games begin at 5:00 PM.

Wrestling

The wrestling squad is back in action this week with a dual meet and a major weekend tournament.

Thursday, Jan 15: The team travels to Green High School for a dual meet starting at 5:00 PM.
Saturday, Jan 17: Our wrestlers head to the Jack Leeder MS Tournament at Orrville High School. Matches begin early at 10:00 AM.
