This has been a great season for our boys and girls cross country teams. Our runners have shown a lot of growth over the season. Both with individual performances and team success.

This year our Boys Cross Country team finished as Federal League Champions and our Girls came in a close-fought 3rd place. Both teams also placed high at all of their invitationals this year, making it a truly successful year overall.

Last weekend, On Sunday, October 19th, our Boys and Girls wrapped up their seasons by competing in the OHSAA 7th and 8th Grade Post Season Invitational. This is the only OHSAA sponsored post season event for middle school cross country and is held at Fortress Obetz, which is where the high school State meet is held every year.

At this competition, our Boys Cross Country team placed 3rd out of 47 teams! Our Boys team had 7 runners place in the top 100: Will Foltz (35th), Warren Offineer (39th), Henry Stephan (45th), Noah Latsch (53rd), Brody Baxter (79th), Liam Palmer (91st), and Bradley Bohaychyk (97th) out of 432 total runners. Our Girls Cross Country team finished strongly at 13th place out of 41 teams! The girls had 3 runners place in the top 100: Madison Speakman (39th), Olivia Barr (64th), and Alexis Fleming (87th) out of 363 total runners. We also had an additional group of boys run in the open event, with that team placing 2nd out of 11 teams.
